Why Choose Sainik and RIMC Schools?
There are currently 33 Sainik Schools across India, established under the Ministry of Defence and run by the Sainik Schools Society. These prestigious English-medium, CBSE-affiliated, fully residential institutions were initiated in the 1960s by the visionary Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, with the aim of preparing young minds for a future in the Indian Armed Forces.
Admission to Sainik Schools is based on an All India Written Examination followed by a Medical Test. These schools have a remarkable legacy of producing over 15,000 officers in the Armed Forces and countless others serving as IAS, IPS officers, doctors, and engineers across India and abroad.
