Eligibility Criteria for the Military Nursing Service (MNS) Examination
To be eligible for the Military Nursing Service (MNS) exam, the applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Gender: Only female candidates are eligible to apply for the MNS course.
- Nationality: An applicant must be an Indian national to apply for the MNS course.
- Educational Qualification: The applicants must have passed the 10+2 (12th) or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from a recognized board with at least 50% aggregate marks.
Candidates who are appearing in the final year of their higher secondary can also apply for the Military Nursing Service. Candidates must also provide their passing certificate before the commencement of their training period. - Age limit: The applicants must be between 17 to 25 years of age at the time of application.
- Marital status: The applicants must be unmarried, divorced, legally separated, or a widow
- Physical standards: The minimum height required for entry into the Armed Forces is 152 cm, but candidates from Hill and Northeastern States will be accepted with a minimum height of 147 cm.
